well, one good thing about living in a big city is that the best bands come to play. here’s the proof. the red lights are the drum machines in action. very cool. as a bonus, this gig also featured the most rubbish support act i’ve nearly ever seen.
we went to the aquarium. its fine to keep jellyfish in an aquarium, but the manta rays and penguins had some serious mental health issues, the poor things… heard the words ‘oishi so’ a few times (which means delicious), which was pretty entertaining. sea otters are cool, but the octopus looked far too much like a giant scrotum, so we won’t make you watch that.

well, in the absence of our dear friends, we’ve had to make our own fun. i think its easier to watch than to describe…
deb made another movie! we went to an antique show (hence the movie) and i bought a cute stuffed dog and a vintage radio that may destroy our little apartment if i turn it on again. its real old and is full of valves, but i think the last owner may have tinkered inside and set it to marshall on 10. still working hard in the studio and practicing harp everyday. liking ‘choco bari’, the japanese equivalent of the golden gaytime very much, too!
oh, and theres an experiment wth youtube tags going on here too, i think….
other news: becoming geekier. worked out how to centre that picture below with little arrows and stuff.
and i got hold of electroplankton. its a nintendo ds game where you make music by shooting fish into the air to bounce off leaves on trees. sweet.

Hey, some good news. I’ve got a new bike called DenDen. And I just had my first harp lesson yesterday. No, not the kind of harp that is played at the HOG Shed in a blues band (do you even need lessons to play one of those?), the ultra deluxe concert harp they play in orchestras. I’m stoked. Oh, and to prove I’m not hiding in the storm drains near Lake Leanyer, here’s a video to prove I’m in a really big city. It’s easy to see me, I’m wearing my puffy jacket!
Oh, Glico is a brand of chocolate and that running guy is the Glico Man. He’s famous round these parts.
