hi, its been an up and down few months, but im sitting here sweating in darwin again. working on upcoming art show and tinkering with the monome on the side. also resumed playing the harp, with thanks to martin jarvis.

on the music front:

blastcorp: i’ve been a bit lazy really, though there are some processed guitar songs coming up. playing in adelaide in early march, see the gigs section for full deets.

red plum and snow: have turned into a 3 piece (kris gretchen and ruben!) and playing in darwin and adelaide soon to warm up for the release of their debut album later in the year. ruben is from the fairweather dolls/weathermen and brings his formidable array of weirly tuned guitars and distortion pedals. yay!

the bionic hearts: I’ve spent the new year recording an album with my favourite singer/songwritier, miss gemma nourse, who is the bionic hearts. I think im joining the band. expect some shows in the southern states starting in march.

artwise:
I had my darwin exhibtion in late december, which was really fun. ive been doing some poster and CD design work and planning some exhibitions around australia for 2009. I’ll let you know when i get it all organised!
